Project Details

Title: Stazione Centrale – Luminarie Tree Year: 2017 Location: Milan

The Luminarie Tree was first designed and installed in Piazza Sant’Oronzo, Lecce in 2011 with the project ‘M’illumino di Salento”. After lighting up the holidays of Turin, Piazza Castello in 2015, it will do so also in Piazza Duca D’Aosta, Milan in front of Stazione Centrale.
The Luminarie Tree is 18.5m high, with a diameter of 9; the structure, made of galvanised iron, weighs 4,800 kg and 11 m3 of fir wood were used for its 111 luminous elements for a total of 48.000 LED lamps.
