Title: The Bulgari Christmas Tree 2024 Year: 2024 Location: Trinità dei Monti, Rome
For Christmas 2024, Mariano Light, for Bulgari, has created one of the most iconic projects of the season: the Christmas tree at Trinità dei Monti and the lights of Via Condotti. This extraordinary project combines design, sustainability and innovation, celebrating the union between tradition and modernity in the heart of Rome.
Inspired by Bulgari’s iconic Tubogas bracelet, the tree is a luminous sculpture that reinterprets the elegance of the Maison with innovative materials. The structure, in the shape of an ellipse in transparent and painted plexiglass, develops vertically following a brass spiral wrapped in a golden metal mesh.
To complete the scene, an eight-pointed star at the top, a symbol of balance and cosmic order, a distinctive emblem of Bulgari at an international level.
Made entirely of recycled materials and illuminated by LEDs, the tree guarantees energy savings of over 75%, underlining the commitment of Mariano Light and Bulgari towards a more sustainable future.
The lights of via Condotti enhance the Christmas atmosphere with 14,300 very low-consumption micro LEDs, arranged to form decorative arches in plexiglass and golden aluminum, enriched by the eight-pointed star at the center of each arch.
A Christmas of Elegance and Light in Rome. This project celebrates craftsmanship and luminous innovation, transforming Christmas in Rome into a work of art. The Trinità dei Monti tree and the lights of via Condotti embody sustainability, style and creativity, making the Eternal City even more fascinating during the holidays.
