Title: Fiumicino Airport – Albero d’Oro Year: 2019 Location: Rome
For the first time the installations of Marianolight can be seen in one of the largest airports in Europe: Leonardo da Vinci in Roma Fiumicino.
It is an elegant Christmas tree that resembles a majestic organ. The golden tree is made of 200 andonized brass tubulars of different heights with 200 stars resting on the top. The rods have Led micro-lights inside that shine and sophistical RGB lights outside, all managed by a software that controls the play of light and makes the tree seem to be crossed by the wind.
