Title: Fiera del Levante – The Heart Year: 2019 Location: Bari
The 83rd edition of La Fiera del Levante in Bari, a meeting place for innovation, national and foreign tradition, hosts in 2019 Marianolight, the historic Apulian lighting company with an installation that has enjoyed great success throughout Europe, a true first time for the Fiera: The Heart.
The Luminarie are a centuries-old tradition of outdoor lighting that Marianolight interprets in innovative ways. The colorful, elegant, simple and wonderful lights, coming from the warm southern Europe, the heart of urban lighting to celebrate the community, are the noble and ancient art that the Mariano family has perfected for 3 generations since 1898.
The Marianolight group exhibited the Heart in Cuneo Illuminata, in Klaipeda Light Festival, in Madrid Natale Magico, in Valencia Las Fallas.
For the first time a lighting installation becomes completely interactive for the thousands of spectators who attended the fair. Through the use of ArtLight, a smartphone application created in collaboration with ArteAmica, presented on the opening night, users can decide to launch different scenes, animations and effects to light up the Heart of Levante. So they will turn on the millions of lamps by a simple command on the mobile phone, becoming the masters of the light.
