An Icon That Shines: Tiffany’s Light Sculpture on Fifth Avenue
Tiffany’s famous icon is transformed into an exceptional light sculpture, where art and technology merge into a unique masterpiece. This extraordinary project tells the story of the great maison’s tradition through a modern and innovative interpretation. Dynamic reflections and suggestive shadows animate the work, creating an engaging, three-dimensional effect. An advanced technological structure adds movement and depth, transforming the installation into an immersive visual experience that excites and amazes.
The sculpture, made of steel and aluminum, reaches a total height of 6 meters and a maximum width of 4 meters with its wings open. With a total weight of 1,300 kg, this installation represents a masterpiece of engineering and design.
The lighting is provided by 50,000 micro LEDs and 3,440 meters of LED Strips.
The project, which required four months of intense work from May 23 to September 23, 2024, involved a team of 22 people, with the support of a dedicated team in New York. Numerous tests were carried out to ensure robustness and safety, making this sculpture one of the most ambitious projects ever realized.
This installation celebrates the history and iconic value of the Tiffany maison, reinterpreting it in a contemporary key through a work that blends art, technological innovation and cutting-edge design. More than a simple installation, it is an emotional and visual journey designed to transform the urban space into a stage of light, enchanting visitors and paying homage to the art of design.
